Illipe Butter (Shorea Stenoptera)
Shorea – genus of Indonesian and Malaysian timber tress rich in resin; Stenoptera meaning narrow winged.
Native to Borneo, the Illipe tree generally grows to height of 15 meters.
Derived from the seed of the Shorea Stenoptera tree native to Borneo, this butter has a chemical composition very similar to cocoa butter. Renowned for its moisturizing properties, this body butter is an excellent ingredient for body lotions, creams and balms. It has a softness rating of 10.
