Derived from the seed of the Shorea Stenoptera tree native to Borneo, this butter has a chemical composition very similar to cocoa butter. Renowned for its moisturizing properties, this body butter is an excellent ingredient for body lotions, creams and balms. It has a softness rating of 10.

Kokum butter is a solid fat obtained from the seeds of the Garcinia indicia tree which is processed and refined to produce a creamy white butter. It is also referred to as goa butter and can be found in many cosmetic products such as creams, lotions, foundations, etc. with a softness rating of 9.

This fruit is believed to have been cultivated for 4000 years or more. Grown in nearly all the tropical areas of the world, this butter is solid and resembles cocoa butter. It has a mild flavor and odor with a softness rating of 8.

This blend combines mango butter, one of our more popular butters, with deodorized cocoa butter creating a hard butter (softness rating of 10) which delivers even more moisturizing benefits.

Sometimes known as mahua butter, it is derived from the seeds of two species of the Madhuca (or Butter) tree, which is a native of central India. It is light in color with a buttery consistency. This product can be used in soaps and candles with a softness rating of 2.

Fruit kernels from the Shorea Robusta tree that is native to India is where this butter is obtained. A light colored, low odor body butter which helps prevent dry skin. Sal butter is a natural ingredient for soaps, lotions, creams, body butters, etc. with a softness rating of 6.

Our Shea Butter Refined Organic/Cosmetic Grade is a certified organic product which has been naturally filtered and deodorized producing an organic product that is ready to use for any cosmetic or toiletry application. This butter is white in color with no odor and a firm texture.
