OIL/WATER/LYE CALCULATION CHARTS

Each blend purchase comes with an Oil/Water/Lye calculation chart, as well as complete instructions, which is also available here on the web site for reference. Click on the Detail link for each blend to view the ingredients and the calculation chart.

• SODIUM HYDROXIDE BEADS (LYE) - Every soap maker needs lye to make soap and we will now carry this product for your convenience for more of a one-stop shopping.

  • Sodium Hydroxide Beads (Lye) will be individually packaged in 2 lb. containers.
  • 50 lb. bags of Sodium Hydroxide Beads (Lye) are available for pick up at OBN only.
  • Shipping is not permitted outside of the continental United States, which includes Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Shipping is restricted to ground service only via UPS and is prepaid and added to the order. Use of customer's UPS account for this item is not permitted.
  • A Purchase Waiver will need to be filled out by the purchaser prior to the sale of this item. (If you have problems downloading the form, right click on the Purchase Waiver link above, select "Save Target As" and save to your Desktop. Open the form from your desktop, fill out and save as a word document. Email the complete document to us at info@oilsbynature.com). Lye will not be shipped until we receive the completed form.
  • Purchase of this product must be made in conjunction with other products and will not be sold on its own.
